LUKE ARNOLD - "Blake"

Luke's "mad scientist" hair-do made him ideally cast as the gifted physics student "Blake", whose hero is the great historical figure Sir Isaac Newton. Luke also brought with him the talents of being an accomplished swordsman & choreographer, which would have been particularly useful if only there had been a sword fight in the film.

Luke's star is on the rise as he played the lead role in the recently released feature film "Broken Hill", which co-starred Timothy Hutton & Alexa Vega. Critics have compared Luke to a young Heath Ledger, a sober Mel Gibson, & a likeable Russell Crowe. After graduating from the renowned West Australian Academy of Performing Arts, he has appeared in various TV shows such as "McLeod's Daughters", "The Strip", as a creepy stalker in "Rescue-Special Ops", & as a pig in "Rush" (-I mean policeman).

Luke was always good-natured on set, even when dragged on a bed, injected with a hypodermic syringe, flung off a cabinet, & made to hang from a first-floor balcony. The graduation scene in the film was his idea, which may give us a bit of an insight into some of his sexual fantasies!

BARRY QUIN - "Professor Sorvad"

Barry is a highly respected veteran of the acting fraternity & is also a lecturer at the Australian Academy of Dramatic Art.

He has a long list of credits to his name in Theatre & Film, & is well known for his characters in TV series such as "Prisoner", "Carson's Law", "All Saints", & "Home and Away".

It was very generous of Barry to lend his enormous talents and his svelte English enunciation to enliven the role of the somewhat austere Professor Sorvad.

He always displayed a positive attitude on the set & barely even groaned when called upon to endure wearing a suffocating ogre mask in stifling heat. A true professional !

CLAYTON MOSS - "Lloyd"

Clay plays the loquacious & somewhat acerbic LLoyd (-please feel free to consult a dictionary!). This complex role suited his all round character acting skills, which have been finely honed by working extensively in Theatre, Film, & TV for the last 10 years.

As a true professional, Clay accepts a performer is sometimes asked to suffer for his art. In this case it took the form of being chased across a paddock by a pair of underfed attack dogs, & also having to publicly parade around in a pink thong (-and it wasn't the type you wear on your foot!). But dedication has it's compensations, as in other scenes Clay got to drive around in a Ferrari F430 convertible, do his own stunts, & pucker up for some prolonged smooching action.

Clay says he caught the "acting bug" after seeing the film "Predator" & wanting to be like Arnold Schwarzenegger. Despite being subject to several unsuccessful experimental treatments to improve this condition, he now accepts this bug is incurable & will hopefully lead him into working on major feature films.

GILLIAN COOPER - "Angelica"

It's somewhat of an understatement to say that Gillian is one "hot, hot, babe !" Her natural beauty, voluptuous figure, & her athletic prowess made her the only choice to play the sexy Angelica.

It was certainly no coincidence that on the day of shooting her doing a gym workout wearing a yellow leotard there was a record attendance of crew & "film critics", who all turned up enthusiastically to observe how things were going & to offer their expert advice. None left disappointed.

Gillian has worked extensively as a freelance model over the last few years adorning the cover of many fashion magazines & being involved in a variety of advertising campaigns. This film marked her acting debut which she clearly adapted to easily, & she plans to do a lot more in the future.
